1. Information We Collect

Color Puzzle does not require an account, login, or any personal registration to play.

• Gameplay data (level progress, streaks, settings, and a board you left unfinished) is stored only on your device. We never receive it.
• Anonymous usage events are sent to our own server so we can see which parts of the game are played and whether ads are working. These carry no name, email, account or advertising identifier. Section 3 lists exactly what is in them.
• Advertising data is collected by our advertising partner, Google AdMob, in order to show ads and, where you choose to watch one, reward you for it. This may include your advertising identifier (e.g. Google Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), general device information, approximate location (derived from IP address), and ad interaction data. That data is collected and processed directly by Google, we do not receive it. See Section 4.
• Diagnostics may be sent to Google Firebase if the app crashes or hits an error. See Section 5.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or any other personal data. We never ask for your location and the App requests no location permission, where a country is mentioned below, it comes from your device’s language setting, not from GPS or your IP address.

The App has no accounts, no social features, no chat, and no user-generated content.

3. Our Own Analytics

Color Puzzle sends usage events to a server we run ourselves at api.northbytelab.com. Every event carries exactly five things and nothing else:

• an install identifier, a random value created on your device the first time you play. It is not your advertising ID, not a device ID, and is tied to no account, because there are no accounts. Deleting the App destroys it, and reinstalling produces a new, unconnected one;
• the platform (iOS or Android) and the app version;
• a two-letter country, read from your device’s language settings, not from GPS and not from your IP address;
• the event itself: which of a fixed list happened, and a few numbers about it, starting the tutorial, finishing or losing a round and in how many moves, completing the daily puzzle, unlocking an achievement, changing a setting, and whether one of our own in-app promotions was shown or tapped.

Our server necessarily sees your IP address, as every internet service does. It is used only in memory, to stop one address flooding the service, and is never written to a database or a log.

Individual events are deleted after 90 days. What remains after that is daily totals, how many rounds were played, on which platform, which cannot be traced back to any device.

4. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)

Color Puzzle is supported by ads served through Google AdMob, which may use advertising identifiers and other technical data to show ads, including personalized ads where permitted, and to enable optional rewarded-video ads that grant in-game bonuses. AdMob may work with other ad networks and measurement partners as part of Google's advertising services.

Where required by your region (for example, the EU/EEA/UK under GDPR, or via Google's User Messaging Platform), the App will present a consent form before showing personalized ads, and you can choose non-personalized ads or withdraw consent through that form.

5. Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics

The App also reports the same usage events, and native crash diagnostics, to Google Firebase. We use it as a second opinion on our own numbers and to find out why the App crashed for someone. Firebase is configured without advertising-identifier support, so it is not used to build an advertising profile of you.

Firebase is deliberately optional here: if it is unavailable or blocked in your country, the App carries on exactly as before. Nothing you can do in Color Puzzle depends on it. What Google collects as a processor is described in Firebase’s privacy documentation.

6. Our Own In-App Promotions

Some of what looks like an ad in Color Puzzle is ours: a small card or a scrolling strip telling you about another NorthByte Lab app. These are fetched from our own server and carry no advertising identifier and no tracking of any kind. We count how many times each was shown and tapped in total, not who saw it. Tapping one opens a link in your browser, at which point that site’s own privacy policy applies.

7. Children's Privacy

Color Puzzle is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

This section covers Color Puzzle: Color Flood Game, published by NorthByte Lab (Smart Life Solutions Group LLC).

There is no account to delete. Color Puzzle has no sign-up, no login and no user profile. Your progress, streak and settings live only in your device’s storage, so uninstalling the App deletes all of it, together with the random install identifier described in Section 3. Nothing of yours remains that we could connect to you.

To request deletion of the usage events already sent to us, email support@northbytelab.com with the subject “Color Puzzle, data deletion”. Tell us roughly when and on which platform you played; those events carry no name, email or contact detail, so that is the only way we can locate them. We answer within 30 days.

In any case, individual events are deleted automatically after 90 days, leaving only daily totals that cannot be traced to any device.

To stop advertising data collection by Google, reset or limit your device’s advertising identifier in your system settings, or opt out of personalised ads via Google Ad Settings.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data (for example, under GDPR in the EU/UK, or CCPA/CPRA in California).

Requests about advertising data should go to Google using the links in Section 4, since we never receive it. For the usage events we do hold, write to us at the address below. Please say roughly when and on which platform you played: those events carry no name or contact detail, so there is nothing in them we could match to an email address, and uninstalling is the fastest way to stop any further collection.

In the EU/EEA and UK, our lawful basis for these events is legitimate interest in understanding whether the game works.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features or change ad providers. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
